Default How about a "Double Diamond"?

A few weeks ago, I posted a picture of my latest decorative cutting board that I called "A Diamond in the wood. This one is made in the same fashion, but with a different layout. I call it "Double Diamond. Woods used are Maple, Cherry and Walnut. All comments, both pro and con are welcome.Double Diamond - small.JPG

I am working on some PDF files to show my methods and will make them available when completed. If you (or anyone else) would like copies , send me your email address to [email protected] Note: the 0 after westy is a zero, NOT the letter o.

Love your work, but can you please let us know how cheap timber is in the US, I see many people using these three contrasting timbers a lot, I just want to see how much we are over-paying here.

Love the cutting board but wouldn’t want to look at it after a couple of bottles of red

How long does it take you to construct a complex piece like this?

I did not keep track, but I would estimate that I have somewhere around 25 to 30 hours in it.
