Its a Festool....er.....Stool!
After seeing TassieK's stool, I thought "why would I want a stool in the shed?"...
After using a plastic stool just the other day and realising how useful one would be, I whipped up this. (got lots of overhead cupboards that are just out of reach)
Spotted Gum, black stained Myrtle and dyed Quilt Maple. All Dominoed together of course. (6 x 40's)
The only reason I used the Quilt was because it was an experiment that went wrong and I had been keeping it around because I knew it would some day come in handy. The thumbnails below are better quality pics, the ones under the 100k limit looked cr@p.
Thanks for the inspiration TK.

Cool stool. I like the quilted sticker.

Finished my Fe-stool. haven't completed the finish yet just to rubs with EEE. Will finish off with Organoil Wax and Polish. It was an outstanding experience using the Domi. Key is to get familiar with the settings first. I lerve it. . My little mate Jack will get it for use as a guitar stool. He's turned 5 and shows a keen interest in guitar. Taught him 1 finger G and C so far.

So at this point we're looking at probably the most expensive stool in history? Better make something else to help amortise the cost
Nice job btw

martrix, that is one sweet stool. How can you stand to put your feet on it? Maybe use it for a piano stool instead!

Nice one Sheddie. Pretty cool how fast you can do good quality neat joinery with it hey.
Cheers.
The Festool logo is coated in about 0.3mm of 2-pac poly, so when its fully cured its actually pretty tough, and being so thick it should take some abuse and can always be re-coated at any time.I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones.
