Default Fiddleback Blackwood dressed and oiled.

Here's some of the Figured timber I was given a few weeks ago. This has been sanded and roughly oiled, still needs to be burnished. This timber is being made into frames for friends back in the "Old Dart" who will be returning to their countries of Origin after they finish their studies

    Regards,

    Rob

You need to plane and scrape it a bit more to get rid of those ripples - oh, that's right it's fiddleback. Looks great and has a 3D effect in the photo. The frames you intend to make with it should look fantastic.
