    Default Foot stool from scraps

SWMBO said she'd like a foot stool so I put this one together from a Cypress pine door jamb I picked up and some merbau I had left over from my outdoor table.

Legs are attached with corner Maloof joints

    Finish is wipe on poly.

The Maloof Joints look pretty snazzy.

I was talking with a guy who showed me something similar: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QYOpy0z6Gl4

Lappa, its excellent to make some nice things out of scraps, but perhaps you've let the genie out of the bottle and shown you can actually do it el-cheapo!...
