Default Garden waste to floor lamp #2

    Hi
I got such good reviews from the forum and most importantly from SWMBO, Also my swelling head, for the desk lamp thread I would have another go. This one need a new thread as it is a floor not a desk lamp and SWMBO wanted a floor lamp
    Here the earlier thread; https://www.woodworkforums.com/f40/garden-waste-desk-lamp-196587
Again all made from thing I had on hand.
The upright is bottlebrush trimming and here is the art bit warning(AB)...The way it flows from the branch and morphs into a square timber is the the realization of the branches dream to become a thing of beauty and usefulness for all time to come.

The top arm before AB....releasing the inner naked style....Me I like the grub holes all through it. This is some blood wood from a tree that the council pruned near by and must have been dead for many years.

The base was from christmas bush leftovers from bandsaw tuning, Shows counter weight

Cutting of upright... From that round wood into the square timber...

The head was made from the neighbours gum tree trimmings, look close and you can see the bug tunnel where I left the sawdust in as filler and added epoxy then clear coated over.
The knuck was made from 15mm square aluminum but this time i added an extra swivel in the middle of it. Very twisty turny now... and 6 wide beam LEDs Total power use 1w

The switch and the wash surrounded

    The end result

Well like the other lamp the journey was enjoyed,,,,and there is the possible third lamp in the wind but it will have to have it own thread
