    Default Hall Table finished

here it is, warts and all! Reclaimed tasmanian blackwood with borer holes and aother defects for the challenge. Ebony accents. Finish is oil and wax, wet sanded to 1200 on the top, 600 on the legs. You can feel a difference!

    Hi Jacko,

Excellent piece. I especially like the treatment that you've used on the legs, and the Ebony accents. Were those Ebony pieces hard to fashion?

    Cheers!

Absolutely first rate. Exhibition piece. The ebony is what makes it IMHO.

What an exquisite piece of functional art. Your grain orientation on the table top works fantastically with the curved length.

    Great work.

Gorgeous piece, Jacko. Design, timber, construction and finish all beautiful. You've got the curves and outrigger themes down to a 'T'.

Fantastic work Jacko. I love the stretcher at the bottom.

I also think the ebony caps on the legs make it look very 'complete'. Really good stuff.
