I had a look in Bootle and there is nothing in his section on River Sheoak that has data on working characteristics. This is probably explained by the observation that the River Sheoak is not a commercially available timber. The reason for that is not that it is unsutable for commercial uses, but because, at least in NSW since 1926, it has been protected because of its role in stabilising creek and river banks, so it is not commercially available. That probably also explains why it is not mentioned in the Forests NSW brochure on bending timber. Bootle says that it is straight grained, so that should mean that it bends well - perhaps yo should use amonia to help it bend rather than steaming?
    Cheers
