Red Cedar
Now that you have a plan and a great design, I reckon you could make a nice pair in red cedar. Now 50 hours @$1.00 an hour, plus $50 for the wood and (say) $10 profit. I'd buy the pair for $220. What do you reckon?
Cheaper if I provide the cedar..................?
Brilliant work as usual.
Good thing you've a big home, there's still plenty of room for more art. Hope you are numbering and signing these somewhere on the base.
Warm Regards
Greg

Oh Mr Wong....
What a beautiful piece Scott, I agree with wheelin' that you should enter it ... or are you still bearing a (well deserved) grudge! I have a house full of antique Chinese furniture and it would fit in beeeeeautifully. FWW ran a competition and series of articles a few years ago about modern furniture using Chinese design elements and your hall table would have been a worthy finalist. I also admire the placement of the bowl, very feng shui.....

Well done . Nice slim design and the verticals break up the horizontals giving more interest. Nice proportions too.
