    Default Laundry Shelf/coat rack

Finally, something else finished a shelf/coat rack for the Laundry.

I decided to use this particular piece of ordinary radiata pine as it had some birdseye through it and it will also match the birdseye pine piece I intend to use for the corner wall cabinet doors.

A very basic, wavy design. The aim of the curves is to allow easy access for big, muscly hands to put coats on the hooks without hitting the shelf, and the shelf is useable but only for little things and not many of them either - anything to keep the clutter to a minimum!!!!

Cut with a jigsaw, edged with a roundover bit, hand sanded and finished with Wipe-on Poly. Since the photo, I've added a single hook to the left-end.

    Cheers
    Wendy

You don't mess around Wendy! Is that the piece of pine that was leaning against the back wall of the shed on the weekend?
    Noice!

    Cheers

Thanks Guys. It does indeed suit the house

This was hiding in the corner under the er, shadow box, or Plane/Chisel shelf. The other piece of Birdseye Pine that you admired is the one I want to use in the corner wall cabinet doors.

    cheers
    Wendy
