    Jacko,

Worthy of sending a pic or two into that American magazine of similar name. It's up with the other work there.

    Well done

That is really a magnificent piece, it looks like it could play music all by itself.

Congratulations on the very fine craftsmanship, have you any more such pieces of art?

It is humbling for us tryers to view such inspirational stuff.

    I tips me hat.

Congrats Jacko on a well executed piece. excellent work.

I guess if you played you wouldn't have had time to make it eh?

It sure is a 'one of a kind' - but now I guess it will be cloned

Have you thought of doing a production run? I reckon you'll have no trouble selling them.

    Beautiful job!

I don't think I could stand it if you were a musical virtuso as well!

Beautiful music stand, Jacko. I'm sure the recipient will make beautiful music with it too.

    Jacko,
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. I just finished a music stand and I have to say I feel a little... inadequate! Great craftsmanship. How do your adjusters work, some sort of cam?

If you do a search for all threads started by jacko in the pics forum, you'll get some wonderful masterpieces. The list is here:

However, some of the earlier threads are missing the pics!!! This includes one of my all-time favourite pieces of woodworking, this one, called "curves and bends":

One of my other favourites has gone missing though: from the thread "A challenge in Woolybut" Where is it!!!!!!!!!?????????

Wow! that is totally GORGEOUS! functional, pristine. I can't say enough. One could base a career in woodworking on that piece alone.

there's no school like the old school.
