    Default My work

Hi this is my first real wood working. I genraly work with steal. I make furnicher from old machine parts but do also use old timber. Genraly from old bildings. The coffee table is made from telephone pole cross arms and the legs are parts of spring tines from combines. The blanket box is made from the legs of an old wheat stack shed the miniorb is from the ceiling of an old house. Both of the peaces ar jarrah. The round steal table is just showing what I geraly do. It is made from old machine parts. Im pretty new to wood working. Hope you like them.

Like your work Gazza, especially the coffe table. I'd love to use a combination of wood and steel like that but I have no idea of how to work steel (and some would say not much of an idea with wood either!).

I love the steel and recycled wood look when it's well and done and in your case I think you've done it!

Welcome. Your work looks great. Different from what we normally see here.
