    Default planter box

I had an order for a planter box that needed to be quite high and had to fit in a space between a wall and steps for a herb garden.
This is what I came up with. No fancy joinery, just nails and screws, it will be painted the same colour as the house, so it didn't matter.

If anyone wants the plan I have a pdf that I can email.

    Thanks for looking.

The timber was some old tongue and groove that I found at the dump. It's straight off the thicknesser.

    Interesting legs!
Legs, I really didn't know what to do there because the box was quite high and not very wide. There is a small child where it is going and I didn't want it to be easily knocked over. The next one that I build will have the internal legs tapered down to about 15mm at the bottom.

oops she just brought me a cuppa as I finished typing and of course it reverts to thread doesn't it.
Being down is the low side of being up it shows the road ahead is a steep climb but at the top the view is always special. Then we just coast along till we hit the trough again. Sometimes when coasting we pick up speed and the steep climbs pass by like your on a plain.
