    Thanks guys

Yeah i'm not looking foward to lugging it up the stairs, although it'll be alot easier than my present one-piece jobby!!

I must admit i did cheat a bit with the joinery, i work at a metalworking shop and i used a couple of the mills to do the slots!

Here it is all bloody 150Kgs of it!!

I tried to shift it a little closer to the wall after putting it together... no chance! Have to take the mattress off to lighten it up first lol

edit: Mattress is sitting properly, it's just one of those pillowtop latex jobbies... and i was in a hurry to take the pics.

Good one Poida! The finish on it looks really nice and mellow. Now you just have to veneer the speaker boxes in jarrah...

So how does it go? is it that much more comfortable knowing that YOU brought it to life?

    Excellent work.

With a bed that beefy, you will have the opportunity to re-model it ten times over in the future and still have plenty of strength in it.
