    Default Red Gum Coffee Table

This is a small, 1.3m x 0.3m x 0.6m. I had some Red gum lying around and thought I'd make a table from it. I had four legs left from a chair build 10 years ago, so I used them, with an ex shelf from a Red Gum shelf for table i made also about 10 years ago. The finish is from two sources. The legs were done with WOP, the shelf with burnished Wattyl Scandinavian oil.
It's worth having a close look at the leg pic. This is Red Gum, with the most beautiful figure I've seen in that wood.

    Regards,

    Rob

You get that figure in some of the eucs, and when its polished up like that, it's almost 3 dimensional. Nice work.
