Default Red Gum Hall Table

This table is going to Houston USA with a family who are returning home after 6 years here. They wanted a good Aussie timber to remind them of their time here. The table is about 1.1m x 0.75m x 0.330m.
Finished in Scandinavian oil friction sealed to 4000g with a Festool ETS150/3 eccentric sander, then Traditional Wax. All joints are Domino.

Regards,

Rob

Nice and simple lines, I like it and I like the timber. Its a pity alot of aussie hardwoods are hard to find in NZ. They have such beautiful grain and colour. I'm sure the family would be very pleased with it.

Nice job Rob. I am hanging to make something from redgum again. Its a timber that requires extra effort, but is well worth it in the end.

I made a similar hall table a while ago, but I like your proportions better than mine. Mine was too chunky.
