I was going to use Huon for the slats, but I thought it would much nice if the whole piece was made of blackwood. This one is going to be a keeper for a very long time.
Sharp edges?? What dod you think?? I spent hours to chamfer all the edges using a hand plane. No part of the cot could hurt the child.Visit my website at www.myFineWoodWork.com

I know I know.
Just that I also know you love clean sharp edges as well and thought you may issue your babies with gloves and protective gear...... just kidding....
