    Smile Round Dining Table

    *-* my first post~
This is the dining table I made for Yr12 woodwork this year.
My first attempt at ever making real furniture so I'm happy I got it done on time.
*I think i fell in love with Tasmanian Blackwood*
(Of course my great teacher helped me every step of the way, couldnt have done it without him)

A little bit about me: Im currently in Year 12(last yr of highschool) getting ready to sit my HSC exams (NSW). My mum told me if i get over 85/100 for my HSC she will renovate our double garage into a workshop for me ^^. Can't wait till my final marks come out~! I wonder if a workshop will be helpful studying Interior Architecture in Uni... (well im hoping to get in, and if its not useful for Architecture, it will be useful in making me happy^^)

Very, very nice. Tas Blackwood is a beautiful wood, isn't it? Your table looks to do it justice as well.

Good on ya for giving credit to your teacher, but I reckon you've earnt your shed. Hope your grades work out for you...

Magnificent! I also made my Grade 12 project (roll top desk) out of tasmanian blackwood (but that was a long while ago) . It is a great timber to work with, and it is very easy on the eyes.

Well done mate and I hope you get your shop. Regards.

Very sweet table! I'd say that this justifies a workshop in itself =)

    Keep up the good work!

Very nice, indeed..... Looks like you are an excellant student and pride for your teacher to have in his classroom. Years ago I used to have students like yourself but, alas, they have gone by the wayside.

Thanks for the posting as it gives me a warm feeling to know some places still do a fine job teaching Woodworking.

I applaud you for your efforts and hope you are successful in return.

What a magnificent table. You have done exceptionally well to produce that as your first piece of furniture. Congratulations, and good luck in your exams.

Wow - what a gorgeous table!! As has been said, SOOOO worth your own workshop.

Good luck with your results and uni-preference.

    Cheers
