router table
Thanks to this forum for the idea of my new router table . It uses my old triton table , freeing up the saw bench . It is mobile , as is most of the heavy tools only to faciliate easy cleaning , not that you would guess if you saw the state of my workshop . Really great site and congatulations and thanks to the moderators .

Looks good. I like the idea of reusing old bits and the drawers are a great idea.
Have a nice day - Cheers

Like it Rick, great design. Mobility is smart. Any plans to add dust extraction?

Hi Rick - Picking your brains 2: How to you keep the trigger in on the 3620 when you're using it in the table? I've tried all sorts of things including zip-ties, electricians tape and a small g-cramp but things keep sliding or slowly shaking off. Really nice looking stand too, BTW

While I'm thinking about the old girl (router that is), does anyone know if there is a good lubricant I should use on my one - it's 2 years old and starting to make a little dry sounding whine when it slows down when turned off Thanks

Channa, sounds like it needs a new set of bearings. Replace the brushes at the same time.

I also do the same with my saw on the triton table . Works a treat and very easy to turn back into a " normal " saw by pulling out the nail .

Ah, so simple and yet so elegant. Can't wait to try it.
