Sheoak hall/entrance table
this was my final piece at asfw, just a sheoak hall table, all the rails are laminated, the top is veneered and yeh the legs are solid. need some better photos but im sure u get the idea!

Hi driftit,
One thing I meant to ask in my first post here - is there a particular reason you bent the laminated sides, then made the pattern cutouts?
I don't have experience with bending, but my initial thought was that you cut out the patterns, then bent to shape. I thought that having less timber would have made the bending easier.
Just out of interest....
And again, that's the best hall stands I've seen.

Lovely, but...in she-oak! Wow-I bet it looks much better in the flesh-that's a lovely timber to look at after the project's finished. Tough stuff to work with while doing it though!
