Default Simple Unit For My New Love - The Lcd Tv

Here is a simple unit I made for my new love - the LCD TV - total cost $32 - mostly old floor joists and floor boards. Man it is hard on the tools.

Nice job. Pity the pics are are little dark as it looks like a good design from what I can see.

Is the top solid timber, and if so how did you put it together

    Default top

the top is a frame of solid floor joists - then filled with old floor boards as the most common complaint about stuff that I make is that it cannot be moved by mortal beings. I like the idea of wall mount as well - but the mounting bracket would have cost me more than the unit I made - so two kids one wage and a mortgage wins out again - but alas I get to spend more time making something....win win all round.
