    Default Solid Jarrah Bookcase

This is my latest project. Solid Jarrah, weighs a ton. (H) 2100mm (W) 1200mm (D) 260mm. Adjustable shelves. Sanded to 600 grit then finished in Hard burnishing Organ Oil (but I didn't burnish it), 2 coats 24hours apart then waited another 48 hrs and buffed with a lambswool moppy thing. Had to move it about 80mtrs from shed to house, I don't know why my wife was complaining about how heavy it was, when I gave her the privilege of helping me move it...got to admit it nearly killed us doing it. really loved doing this project. 1st & 2nd piccy unfinished 3rd with organ oil.

I like it too. Good work.

I made 2 bookcases from recycled Jarrah for second daughter. Only 900mm wide and no back like yours but still heavy and took 3 of us to get into place.

Congratulations on a superb piece. To be admired!
