    Default 1869 Iron Horse

There are about 670 pieces of hand crafted individual parts of various kinds of woods. The tiny stones on the facing of the bridge came from the storm washed coast of California. 12 volt peanut bulbs were used in the lamp posts. The power train (wheels, horizontal pistons) all the driving mechanisms function. Glass windows have been installed in the passenger coach. Unfortunately, there is no steam whistle.

Excellent work, a treasure to pass down through the years.

Our son entered the wrong picture - the train is not finished in this picture - I couldn't figure out how to enter the picture into the web site and asked him for help. As soon as I get this conquered, the correct picture will be entered. Thanks for your patience. ebcarver
