*L* Namtrak do you remember that guy who believed to make a normal sized book case would take a cube of timber?
Was a long time ago now. Nice book case by the way, do we still give out greenies for that sort of thing?
Timber sales? I think I have been very slack for the last 6 months but it must be time to do something and see what comes about.

Yeh, that took about a tenth of a cube and some car bog.
Book me in for the next order, both flooring and structural. Me and the boys love the stuff. My prob is I dont keep track of here so much because Im more lounging around the reno forums - anyway will try and keep in touch with the goings on here. There was a young boy called Wyatt

This is my belated effort. I needed something for a City unit. It has a bar fridge to go in the middle where the gap is.
The door came from Bob at Sandstone Point
Just to bring some reality to things I have a shot of some of the rubbish pile. My neighbor has already taken a pile away for Easter camping.
The dust I created from all of this was unbelievable. SWMBO told me to go and buy what I needed or find a shed somewhere. So now I have a 2HP Jet dusty with pleated cartridge. It is really good.
There was a lot of rubbish in the pack and it was a huge amount of work. I ripped the 125 mm flooring into 35 mm wide pieces and glued them together in 300 mm widths. After running them though the thicknesser I joined two together to make the top and both sides.
SWMBO is a bit miffed it is not staying in the house now. You can't win them all.

Just about out of timber.
Another kitchen which includes the benches and the servery window - once again all thanks to Studley. I am not sure of the finish, I think it was a Cabots interior. One more table on the way then I reckon I am up for another order!!
BrisRuss your stuff looks great, I think we may have a larger tolerance for the crappy bits because we are using a fair wack of car bog!!!!

Hi Namtrack,
How did you do your benchtops? Did you use structural sizes? They look super.
I want to do our kitchen. The old lime green looks a bit dated now.
Cheers,
Russ

The benchtops are just 2 by 4 's laminated together. Because the timber is already DAR we just biscuit, glue and clamp them up. the bigger holes are filled up with car bog (tinted black), the joins are all mitre joins and held together with the bench screw that go underneath.
This kitchen is my next door neighbour in Albury, who wanted to save as much as possible. I gave him the timber for the tops and servery window, and another mate helped him with some of the more intricate details. There was a young boy called Wyatt
