I've built a shelf unit beside my kitchen fridge! Pretty shabby compared with yours.
Cookbooks, small appliances. . . . . don't know how I got along without it.

I like the stone panelling surround behind the wood stove. You've put some thought into design.
Afraid that with -30C nights, my wood stove (pellets) is somewhat bigger than your needs.
Expect to burn 5 tons (10,000lbs) again this winter.

Keep up the good work. Mostly looks unfinished. If so, your plans?

Like all reno things it comes down to cash and time so yeah i have a few bits that still need completing. Lol. Like everything its a work in progress.

The little stove thing has a real efficient hot water jacket in it. Puts out 6.5kw of water. And 8.5kw of heat. The house is only 120m2 so only small.

They are bringing in clean air regulations here. The old kitchen had an old multifuel burner for hotwater. And there was an old in wall fire to. Both were munted so hence why theres now a new chippy in. Its wickedly efficient. Can boil the cylinder in 3/4 of an hour from cold.

I pulled the carpet. Polished the boards. Put up new gib on the ceilings and walls. Batted/insulated both as there was none. New kitchens in and moved from the original galley one. Took out old arch. Put in couple skylight and it goes on. Lol.

Thats made of pallet wood. Still needs sealing yet and screw holes filled in.

It's amazing what timbers you can find in pallets, especially the hardwood ones.
Great work you are doing, and sounds like enjoying. You're certainly having a go.
