Thanks Harry. Photos would be good. As i mentioned previously, I'm watching this thread with interest so LOTS of photos would be good. (there's no such thing as too many, ok? )
So, if you've cast in threaded rods, and used these to set the heights of the base of the uprights, where have you set them, in relation to the final slab height? will the final result be that they are just sitting on top of the finished slab, or will it be cast around them. and do you then have to use other holes in the base plates to bolt them to the slab itself?
Sorry for all the dumb questions, but I think it's better to ask someone who's actually building one, rather than a shed supplier, as at least this way I'll get an honest and straight answer

Thanks for the reply Harry. Sorry to have bothered you with those questions. I didn't realise you weren't the builder. I thought you were constructing it yourself. I guess I'll just keep an eye on the thread and keep all dumb questions to myself.

I did mine slightly differently. I dug 1.5m deep holes (600mm diam) and concreted in the supports so their height was level with the top of the yet to be poured slab.
We then built the shed and later poured the slab.- Wood Borer

WB, thanks for that. One last (stupid) question before we get too bogged down in this. Once the slab was poured after your shed was erected, did you then have to go back and dyna bolt the uprights to it at all, or was the original fixing to the piers all that was needed?
(and following that reply I promise to get off the issue of how uprights are fixed to slabs and let Harry get back to updating us with more piccies of one fiiiiiiine shed construction )

TN,
On the thread when I recently built my shed, I showed a sequence of photos which will probably answer your questions. I'm happy to answer your questions but ask them on my thread so we don't hijack Harry's thread.

A picture for TN
She's almost finished(the actual construction that is!), just needs the PA door installed, ridge capping and the guides for the roller doors.
I cant believe how well the insulation works already, standing in there today(takin pic for TN) with 36° on the guage, it was quite comfortable... my old shed is unbearable at this temp without the aircon on flat out!
Tomorrow will be a good test... 41°!
Sound is damped very well too, clap the hands and there's no echo....................................................................
