Who am I ?

Need some help I do..

My hippy sister-in-law came by for a day and ended up staying a week.

. She's nice enough, except she's right into Astrology. She genuinely believes that it explains everybody in full. Gets a bit tiring listening to it. I can fake a smile for only so long, before I have to make up some pretext to excuse myself from the room.

Anyway, over a cuppa, she was telling us that she absolutely loathed Capricorns. Hated them. That every capricorn she'd met was a complete wally....Lasted a good 15 minutes ....then a few moments later she casually asks me...

'So,,, Jake,,, what star sign are you ? ' ..With a big grin I said ' Capricorn, actually '.

That sent her backpeddalling at a million miles an hour.......' Oh, oh , right, well,,,,your definetly nice !....so, umm, you must be borderline Aquarius with a dash of Libra .. ....:confused: 'ah, right !!! that explains it' I said, nodding my head in agreement and scratching my #### at the same time.

Just quietly, I still don't really understand. Sort of hoping one of you guys would sort it out for me.

But I do now carry around this little bit of paper I cut out from the newspaper in my wallet...uno, as a quick reference for the odd occation I find myself in another Astrology conversation....I can just excuse myself to the bathroom, eyeball my notes, come back and pretend I know what there talking about. Good stuff.

So capricorns are ....
Hardworking ? - I don't know,,but I do know one thing. I loathe laziness.
Organised ? - I try to be, but have you seen my shed !! Maybe thats when the dash of Librarian comes into play. And I do like books !!!
Melancholic - Do like a good melody. Ballads mostly though. So, that could be right.

So, what star sign are you ? And does it seem to fit its description ?

Libra

Balanced, sort of can ride bikes but not skateboards???? Have not tried for years.
Intellectual, sort of, spent most of my life teaching electronics and reading etc. Would rather have been a hands on worker though.
Artisic, yeah like to express myself in many forms.

After careful consideration, I realise that I must have been born under all the stars, 'cos I reckon at least one of those words could describe me at any given moment!

Actually tripper, Dirk Gently's mate writes one of those column things, and spends his life writing secret messages in them to Dirk and others... they aren't real you know.

On the other hand, the most memorable horoscope I've ever read said (and I kid you not): "On Wednesday, you will become concerned when you find a toenail growing from your navel.

isn't it true that the 'stars' are based on ancient astrology which is now worthless due to the fact that the Earth's axis has changed since then...which makes the current horoscopes more of a crock than what they already are??? :confused:

The only thing wrong with that statement is that it implies that astrology once had a some worth!!

The other seem to fit me okay and yeah I can be blunt at times.

We did a test on that at Uni, the descriptions can be moved around to any sign and no one will disagree with what is said about them, but when these cretins start to irritate me I refer them to my mate in America, he loves them too...

Don't hold out on us, Biting! When you found that toenail growing from your navel on Wednesday, were you concerned? Or could you not care less as you were expecting it by then??
