    My Goodness, I cannnot understand it - 198 users currently on this forum and a new edition of Big Brother started on TV ---- where are your priorities guys -- shame on you :confused: :confused: :eek: :eek: :eek:

    I thought my priorities were correct, I am more worried about the members that werent logged on...
    I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be.

    At least it will help to boost ABC's and SBS's rating at 7pm. No way in hell I'll be watching that tripe:mad:. I'm not huge on this kkind of reality TV. I didn't mind the biggest loser but more for the fact that I am currently trying to lose weight. Bigest loser had a reason and I think that it has made a difference to a lot of people but BB is just utter drivel.

    I admit I read the TV guide each week especially paying attention to ABC and SBS lately. There are some fantastic programs on them and with little advertising you never hear about them.

    I also have a daughter that is at that age (8) where all this big hype tv is all the talk between her and her friends. Every night "Can we watch.........cause (insert friends name) watches it!!"

    Reality TV?? I don't think so. Reality is sitting in front of a monitor for four or five hours a day typing messages to other forum members. Do you really want to watch a show about that?

    I had no idea it was even on the way.. and then bang I find out tonight that I have to avoid chanel 10 for six months so as not to be tormented by nuff nuffs

    Up here we've had TV ads, radio ads, ads in the papers and magazines. Actually sort of good cause we've had prior warning to make sure its avoided!!

    Ah, yes. The kidleys, TV Guides on legs, major factors in the ratings. Not a problem here, thankfully.

    Mind you, apart from the news, a few doco's & David Marks in the wee hours there's nothing I really want to watch. All these cable channels and I still prefer a book. Sad, isn't it?

    Oh Dear has that huge waste of recources time and effort come back to tv again shows how much i pay attention its a non event here but hey so is television its nice and quiet atm only thing i can hear is the slug typing and the fan and the birdy behind me that hasnt been put to bed yet and the cat who is sitting on my lap purring away i enjoy the quiet if i want noise ican always put cd or radio on but its nice when its quiet
