ebay - a nice story
I sold a brand new bath and shower tap set on ebay last week and advertised them with postage at $5 each. I had no idea what it would cost but thought it would be $5-10 or close to it.
Anyway, a guy from Mt Isa bought both sets and asked how much postage for both if sent together.
Stupid me says "oh, just send $5 and it should be OK"
So he pays the bid price plus the $5 and off i trot to the PO.
Total cost of postage $17.50 ! and the sets only got $82 for the 2 !
Oh well, my mistake and off they go. I just thought I'd cop it.
Anyway, tonight this guy sends an email and says he got the sets and noticed the postage and he has transferred another $12 to my account.
It sort of gives you hope that there are a few nice people around. it's not the $12, it's the fact that he did it which makes me feel good about it.
If at first you don't succeed, give something else a go. Life is far too short to waste time trying.

Think he read that you sold a bath......and a shower tap set.
Not sure how you'd post a bath.....especially for $5"Clear, Ease Springs"
