Default an Ebay story worth remembering.

It's all about a bottle of beer.
    first guy sold it here
    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=270132264843

the buyer of it, corrected the spelling, added in a description worthy of the item, and well, turned it straight around and sold it here
    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=260145824374

    SPEW!

I am not sure exactly how that first guy goes on breathing... I think that would have been the end of me.

EDIT- here is a little article about it
    http://www.luxist.com/2007/09/10/eba...s-man-500-000/

and just thought about it- the other guy who must be kicking himself is the only OTHER bidder in the first sale who only bidded a $300 maximum.

That leaves me speechless, by your blurb I expected he made a few thousand on it but 500,000 American dollars, that is beyond belief.

it is a bit beyond belief.
I don't think the actual second sale has gone through yet...
we'll soon see if it is a hoax or not.

at least the first buyer left some nice feedback to the first seller

"STELLAR bottle! Rarest bottle ever sold on E-Bay...BAR NONE! EXC SELLER! EXC!!!"

    and found the other side...

the first seller's feedback to the first (lucky) buyer

"very professional buyer.pleasure to do business with.highly recommend"

    very professional- and pleasurable!
yes I am sure he was- I would be too as I tried to contain my gleefull maniacal laughter and greedy palm rubbing
