Default This morning i was reminded...

about why I stay off the roads at christmas time.

There are too many escapees from the shallow end of the gene pool for my liking.

Both smoke alarms had their batteries go flat so had to get replacements.

Was making a right hand turn when this young fool ( P plater ), screamed up from nowhere and cut across me to make the same turn.
he disappeared in a cloud of noise and I didn't get his number.

He didn't escape from the gene pool, just that his parents used tooo much chlorine in it. Pity there wasn't there a camera on the corner.
Personally I'd like to see P platers sit for a driving test after 5 years, all their bad habits would have been ingrained by then and they don't think about what's right or wrong.. One mistake and back on P's for another 5 years. That'll sort them out.

One of his contemporaries managed to flip his shiny tradies ute onto its roof just outside my place earlier this evening. I think that'll be the last almost-burnout attempt I'll be hearing in the street for a while.

The sound of the ex-ute being dragged onto the traytop towtruck sounded remarkably like the noise the garbage truck makes!
