Default Party Boy was to become a Carpenter

    Australian party teen turns pro

He said it was the best party ever. Now he wants to do more

The Australian teenager who threw a party while his parents were away causing thousands of dollars of damage says he is turning professional.
Corey Delaney, 16, told Australian television he was giving up plans to become a carpenter, and would DJ and host parties instead.
Corey shot to international fame last week when 500 teenagers attended a party at his home in Melbourne.
Police who came to investigate noise were driven off by drunken guests.
By the time police reinforcements with dogs arrived, an estimated A$20,000 ($18,000; £9,200) worth of damage was done.
    Unrepentant
An unrepentant Mr Delaney said at the time that any other teenager wanting to host a home-alone party should get him to organise it.
He did a great party in the wrong place. We're going to put on a great party in the right place

    Max Markson, agent

"Best party ever, that's what everyone's saying," he said.

Now he is putting his own advice into practice.
"Working on a building site was pretty hard. Now I've got a manager, life's good," he said.
The manager, celebrity agent Max Markson, said: "He did a great party in the wrong place.
"We're going to put on a great party in the right place."
Mr Delaney had originally hoped to keep the party a secret from his parents, but the world-wide publicity it attracted put paid to that. He temporarily left home to avoid his parent's wrath.
Since then, Corey has polarised public opinion.
He has become something of a hero for many young people, with some reports describing him as a Generation Z poster-boy.
But other people have criticised him as an arrogant brat. A website inviting people to "slap Corey down the street" has had more than 700,000 hits.

I was just reading the story at yahoo7, the poor boy says it was too hard for him working on site.

If only they would let me get my hands on the sod. Worse though, is that all this media attention is only feeding his childish and immature ego.
I make things, I just take a long time.

Chanel nine had an exclusive interview - i bet they paid for that, then tried to get him to apoligise!!

I'm glad to see your opinion Stirlo - give yourself a pat on the back.

These parties is there alcohol with a 16 yo in charge/organising.

Lets hope the cops send a bill for the job at his first party and some charges.

Just shows some "professionals" (managers) have no decency about them - explotation at its best. But still let's hope someone rips him off and shows him to be the fool/ di*%$&^* he is.
    regards

Don't worry, I've seen him on the other end. Half the hardworking old guys in Hollywood are just like this kid. He'll be back, and when he gets here, I've got a plan.

"Why's your dirt in boss's ditch?"
    "I don't know boss."
    "get it outta there"
    "yes boss"
"why's your dirt in boss's yard?"
    "I don't know boss"
"get it outta there, fill up that ditch"
    "yes boss"
"Why's your dirt in boss's ditch?"
    "I don't know boss"

    later.....
    "gotta shake a bush boss"
    "you shake that bush"
    "shaking a bush boss"

    A plan and a shovel.

It is idiots like him who give all the good kids a bad name.
Fortunately the majority are well behaved and get on with their education or work prospects without any fanfare. The future of our country is in good hands by and large.

Children are by and large a product of their upbringing.
Why did it take his parents so long to get home from QLD?
I would not leave a 15-16 yo home alone for more than a few days,
And if somthing like this happened I'd be back on the next Plane.
We can all tut tut at the kid ( I agree he's an arrogant little brat)
    But what about parental responsibility.
Parties can get out of hand even with parents around, but the kids attitude is what's making folk mad and where did that come from?
