I'd be careful and not trust anything that that Rocker bloke says.

If you need a morticing jig there was a bloke here a while ago with a good one. I can't remember his name but I think he was in to rocking chairs

Why stop at $900 for the movement. From the sounds of things you will soon forget the cost anyway.

I'm with Grunt, that Rocker is a miscreant and an all round trouble maker, but you thought you might have known that.

Wot's even worse, is that his advice is always spot-on and I don't think I'll ever be able to prove otherwise.....

There is some truth in what you say; but I still remember paying $559 for an MS-R router table, and selling it for $50 :mad:

I reckon that making clock movements out of wood is rather like making hats out of wood - it can be done by someone who is prepared to spend a huge amount of time and effort, but the end result is inevitably unsatisfactory anyway.
