    Default Richard Hammond

    Hi Rowan,
I heard about this last night, (20th Sept) He is now described as 'serious but stable'. He was at Elvington airfield near York about 20 or 30 miles from where I live in Yorkshire. Too many famous people getting killed & injured lately for comfort don't you think? Here's hoping he get well soon.
    Cheers mate, Sliver.

I think I'll take it easy on my way to bed.

Thanks for the news though Rowan....

HI, Report on t.v. in uk this morning. (22nd Sept) said that Jeremy Clarkson was at the Hamster's bedside in Leeds hospital & is said to have jibed at Richard being a rubbish driver; They said a smile appeared on his face.....
Although he is still a long way off recovery it fills you with hope doesn't it??????
    Cheers guys, Sliver.

Thanks for the info Rowan. I was just talking to my neighbour yesterday about how casually they drive at speeds of 250 kph and more on that show. I guess the two recent deaths in Oz show that you really can't get away with much. I hope he recovers.

I heard that he does have a "Brain Injury", but to what extent is not known. Either way, he wont be traveling at 300MPH for a long time, if ever.
    Great show though.

    G'day,

SWMBO and I saw the news and as big fans of Top Gear hope the bloke pulls through, wouldn't be near the same without his beaut sence of humour on the show.

Good fun show , clever witty banter , nice cars , zero application of advanced driving techniques .

    Hope he recovers fully

Dunno about that, I thought the sheila punting the transit van round Nurburgring past the bikes and Porsches was pretty advanced in her technique.

I fell in love that night.
