If using a heat rub to treat a sore elbow, do NOT apply said rub before going to the toilet ... or use the other hand

That takes me back a bit

When merely an impetuous youf (!) I played Rugby for Jersey, and one of the initiation things was to spray some of the aerosol "Deep Heat" into a newbie's jocks when he was out on the field.

Post shower, and into the bar, the said newbie would soon start squirming, then, at an ever increasing tempo, start hopping about - hoots to watch - but a real live Bar-steward to be caught by

I once chopped up a whole swag of chillies for a Thai Lamb Curry for a dinner party we were having. Hours later I went for a pee. Frick it hurt. I had to wash my old fella under the tap for 10 minutes before the pain subsided.

A few drops of tobasco ( spelling) on the handle of the toilet door at a party gets some interesting looks from people who have just been.

Not that I would have ever been involved.

Obviously none of you lot have been to a cooking course run by Lindey Milan of the Women's Weekly where you use chilli - everyone gets an extensive warning about what not to do after touching chillis & who not to touch

Oh, and milk or yoghurt is the best thing for chilli 'burns'. Can't help with Tiger Balm or Dencorub/Vicks etc.
