This type of air racing is commonly refered to as "Pylon" racing. Not much room for error, if you make one you usually don't get the chance to make another!....:eek:

I was actually watch some of this program the other week. At present I am attempting to learn how to fly.. these guys scare the bejeezes out of me!
I try and do new things twice.. the first time to see if I can do it.. the second time to see if I like it

This is a bit different to the original pylon races which were like speedway, just going round and round the pylons...
Here the pylons are light rubber that just shreds on impact... how woosy is that?
