    Default Circle cutter

    Hi there,
Students at work have been given a few projects to do using corrugated cardboard, so I went to Bris Vegas and scored half a ton of the stuff from a factory! Straight away there was demand for some way of cutting circles neatly, and I went searching on the net. Couldn't find exactly what I wanted, but got some ideas and made a prototype. Its simply a trammel setup made from silver ash and holds an Xacto type knife at the fixed end. Works a treat!!
Versions of various lengths are easily made, and it has the bonus of swapping the knife for a pencil to draw circles. Worth making another for my tool kit at home I reckon.
I can't get the dialogue box for managing attachments to work, the Browse button is dead!? Apologies, hardly worth posting...and I was going to start a WIP thread on another much larger project.

    Cheers,
    Andy Mac

    Default Update

Well, after the third or fourth time I'm able to attach the image. Pretty straight forward construction, the morticed sliding block is made in two L-shaped pieces glued together with Titebond.

    cheers,
    Andy Mac
