DIY drum thicknessing sander
Hi, I've recently completed a drum sander build, loosely based on the woodgears.ca plans, but scaled up and using PVC pipe instead of MDF disks.
The full build story can be seen at
Drum Thicknessing Sander Build
a few pix attached here for convenience.
It works well, my effort truing the disks and drum paid off (no "bumping" when using it).
It has a removable bench top so it can double as a work area when not in use.Last edited by Big Shed; 20th December 2015 at 06:37 PM. Reason: Corrected link
