    Default T-guide for router

    Good day mates

I would like to share with you a jig that I made long time ago and it serves me till today.
I’m using this jig mainly to cut dados or slots but its open to your imagination.

The “Kuntz” of this jig is that I always know where the bit will hit or cut without calculations.

Tomorrow, I’ll show an example how I’m cutting dados.

    Hope it will help

    Regards
    niki

    Hi Auld Bassoon

Well, I just came back from Japan. When I left Poland 2 weeks ago, it was snowing and –10 deg.
When I came back, all the snow melted and the temp. went up to +10 deg. So its time to start woodworking.

    NewLou

Thanks, I made it some 10 years ago.

I made a similar jig like that years ago for bookshelf dadoes.
I set a long jig up with multiple guides so all of the dadoes on the carcass side could be cut with one setup of the jig.
Dunno what happened to it, maybe its still in the shed.
