Default My jigs are going to Wood Magazine

Sorry for the kind of "show-off" but I had to share it with somebody and here in Poland, no one to share with (except my wife).

A few of my jigs are going to be published in "Wood Magazine" and one of them got the title "Top Shop Tip".

You can see the post here and also how the monkey looks...and if you click on the picture to "enlarge", you will see...bigger monkey...

    Great Niki,
hope ya don't make much money from them,

otherwise you'll be out buying festo instead of making tools

(just kidding - I hope you make a bundle out of it)

    Thank you so much Mates

    Bob
They are paying $75 per tip and the "bought" from me so far 4 tips...that covers my new router...
For the "Top shop tip" (45° cutting sled - well, not for the sled but, for the method), I'll get a $225 value tool. I don't know which one but in USA, For $225 you can buy 2 Hitachi M12V...

    Toolin Around
    You are correct but...

Mate, I had to read it 3 times and with dictionary...
Ok, I have to run.....to make another jig for you...

    Thankstand
No book as long I can walk to the garage (without stick)

    Thank again Mates

    Regards

I'm only new on this forum but allready I have respect for your ingenuity and well thought out jigs, time for you to have a chat with a publisher old mate. I can see the book now - "Niki"s nifty jigs" and that big monkey on the front cover.

Great news, Niki. And thank you for "showing off." Your "showing off" has been a major contribution to our knowledge. Nice to see you get big-time recognition.

Retired aircraft mechanic, eh? Ditto Gil Jones (mostly posts in Woodturning-General); USAF & Delta IIRC.

    Thank you so much mates

    Joe
You know how are newspapers, they are telling you only half of the story....

I was mechanic for 13 years and than 23 years, flight engineer, 11 of them in Japan and there I started the woodworking hobby...but the rest of the story is correct...it all started from a tissue box...I still keep it with me....I used Super glue...
