Light bulb
I made a light bulb
I didn't even know it.
Had a little play today after seeing Auscab,s fantastic idea and his efforts.
So ,I thought I would have a crack at it.
The burl come from my left over box so unfortunately no idea what it is but it is nice.
Sanded to 1200 dry then my new favourite finish CA (super glue)polished that till 12000 micro finish. Then a quick mothers(that's a brand) car polish.
A bit of mild steel on the metal lathe and today I aced it and had it cutting sweet metal curls, love it when that happens.
Waiting to pick up a old countersink from a junk shop.
Will fit and finish it off .
Overall ,very happy play time
So thanks for the inspiration Auscab
Cheers Matt,

nice
Some people are like slinkies - not really good for anything, but they
bring a smile to your face when pushed down the stairs .
