Eltham & District Woodworkers Exhibition
The Eltham Woodworkers Exhibition will be on November 12th & 13th 2011, from 9am till 5pm. Entry is still FREE.
It is located at the Eltham Community Centre, cnr Pitt St and Main Rd (opposite the Eltham Hotel).
We have our Exhibition in one hall and expect to have 250 plus exhibits covering Woodturning, Carving, Cabinet Making Scrollsawing etc. Some for sale and some not. Any purchases cannot be taken until Exhibition closes on Sunday Night.
We have another area set aside for our sales table for the sale of smaller items which can be taken once the folding stuff is exchanged.
We have another area for Demonstrations, too many to mention now.
Mostly our own club members but also a few from other woodworking clubs and other interest groups.
We also have a kids workshop. The kids will make a racing car or a nesting box this year and still free.
We will have tea / coffee and biscuits for sale and served by our other halves. There are shops or the pub within walking distance to purchase lunch.
We also have our raffle with 6 prizes, all made by our members.

I'll vouch for this exhibition. Have been to this one for the last three years and it gets better every year, especially the quality of the items on exhibit and my two young girls had a great time making a boat last year. Well worth your while having a look.

I went to have a look this afternoon, very well organised and sufficient parking for the crowd that was there.
Saw and spoke to a few fellow forumnites and also friends from wood turning clubs.
All the work on display was of a high standard and was a credit to the club.
As I'm mainly interested in turning and pyrography the photos I took reflect that, especially as the camera battery ran out.
Peter.

The first photo is the work of Joevan, one of our forum members, and the other is of Letzzzgo, another forum member, manning the sales table.
Enjoy.
Peter.
