Better Manuals for Tools
If you are like me and found the crappy quality of the manual that came with your toys.... er... tools, check out Grizzly Industrial site in the USA. If you have read any of the US woodwork mags, you will have seen their ads for Table Saws, D/C's, Thicknessers, Jointers, Bandsaws, etc. Well, they have ALL their quality manuals in PDF form on their site. Now, as most tools (particularly Table Saws and Bandsaws) are very, very similar - check out the list and see if one is close (or exactly) the same as you tool. A direct link to the manuals section is:
http://www.grizzly.com/manuals.cfm?&...7&site=grizzly
Hope this is helpful (was for me given the crap manual I got with my new KS-12K Table Saw)Wayne

You hit the jackpot here!!!!
I've just down loaded manuals for my bandsaw, jointer and thicknesser, all in "good english". Your right about the manuals that come with most of the Chinese/Taiwanese machines. The meaning is most times lost in the translation.

I never try and get my ambitions and capabilities mixed up, but a few cold beers, on a hot day, and well, you all know what happens next!

Yep - they have very good manuals for just about everything. Best thing about them is that they contain 'tuning' procedures with quality pics (unlike the black blotches in chinese ones).
I actually went looking for them after re-reading the American Woodwork Table Saw Test article. This article was a test of all the major full Cabinet Saws and the reviewer actually mentioned that the Grizzly Saw had the best manual (the saw was not the best but still Ok given the cheap price).
Another interesting thing in the article was that they had to 'shim' the extension wings on every single TS to get them level. This included the Delta Unisaw, Jet, Powermatic, General and Grizzly. They even had to shim a few under the main tables to level them as well. Quite interesting given their reputations and price.Wayne

The orange people have exploded parts lists (at least) online, and GMC have had their manuals in PDF for ages...
