39.5ºC in the shed, less than Zenwood's joint - but still too hot in there. I cam home after leaving my wifey at the hospital with Bub for MIL to bring her home so I could do some work in the shed but it's too damn hot.

At about 15:00 I had to admit defeat. I was dripping all over my jointer jointing some Red Gum for subsequent resawing; glasses getting little rivers on the insides...

Temp inside the shed had reached 42C on one side and 46C on the other. Blasted tin lid, and that despite having a sprinkler intermittently showering the roof.

Came inside, had a shower followed, quite rapidly, by a coldie

Pic2: temp outside shed ... ! it's gone round the clock:eek:. I assure you it was not -18°; if the scale continues in the same vein, I estimate the thermometer was measuring itself at about 80°C in the sun. No wonder I start burning my fingers if I touch the tin too long.
