Hey Garry,
You don't need plans really...
Look up Mud Kitchens on line, find the size and then build...height is the one to pay attention to.
This one I made freehand from recycled pallets. Pocket hole screws are a big help. Get along to yor tip shop recycle yard first. The size of the sink is one of your key parameters.
The pic below is not completed. I made a little door for the opening on the right hinged at the bottom as an "oven door", and placed a shelf acrioss the top..
Also placed some cheapy wheels opp the handles to make moving around easy...

Agree with David,
The issue with kids kitchens is they are highly dependent on age/height of child and they tend to out grow them quite quickly. My wife has one that her grandfather built when she was much younger, which we are about to give to our child. Depending on what you're after they are not particularly difficult to build. My wife's one is a mini oven that the oven door and grill door opens up but the cooktop is painted on. A child's imagination is what makes these things work.

I made one as a commission for my Mens shed. There is a picture on here somewhere of the finished project, however I reckon it was a pointless exercise. The Ikea $129 DUKTIG jobbie is probably cheaper than the cost of materials required to make a designer looking one. If the kid has a decent imagination then you could get away with far less.

As much as I would have liked to have made one for our daughter we ended up with the Ikea one. We purchased it for her 2nd birthday and she has just turned 3.
She enjoys playing with it but it's not a high use toy. Good little unit, the cooktop even lights up. The grey plastic parts on the legs are adjustable for different height kids.
At the end of the day it would be difficult to make something for the same cost.
The kids grow out of toys so quickly it can be a little heartbreaking that something you have made is only used for such a short period of time. I would recommend making something that can be held onto for much longer. Now proudly sponsored by Binford Tools. Be sure to check out the Binford 6100 - available now at any good tool retailer.
