    Default Granite Kitchen Sink Cut out, what to do with it?

    Hi All , as part of our kitchen upgrade i ended up with a large, 48x118cm chocolate granite peice.

    Its to good to throw out, i am after some suggestions on what i can do with it?

    Thanks for all the idea's, I dont have need of a router table or sharpening station.

    i was think more like a piece of furniture maybe something to put in the kitchen/living area to match the kitchen benchtop...

    also very handy for gluing on as the glue don't stick to it.

    Not sure how easy it is to work with granite, but I used our chipboard cutouts to make a matching cutting board, and a sink cover.

    If you have room you could mount it in a mobile station and use it as a mobile chopping board. My mum used to use a piece of marble to make pasteries, shortbreads & pizza bases on. It keeps the mixture cool and stops it from sweating.
    It's only a mistake if you don't learn from it.
