Default Difficult to change angle of cut on my Kapex 120

I have my Festool Kapex120 on a workbench, set at 90 degrees. When I want to make a 45 degree mitre angle cut, I release the mitre lock by lifting the handle and pressing down on the mitre stop release lever with my thumb, and then rotate the mitre to the desired angle. The only problem is with the last step. It does not rotate easily, and a fair bit of force has to be used to rotate it.
Can anyone please advise why this is so, and how to fix this?
    regards,

    Dengy

    Hello Denque

When rotating the mitre angle on the Kapex there will be some resistance but you should not need to fight it

If you would like to please PM me your contact details, I will call you to discuss this

A quick chat may be best for this one
