Distributor for Tanos Systainers and boxes to fit in them
A while ago I swear I found a distributor in Australia who sold a good range of Tanos Systainers (T-loc) and a whole range of different layout packs of the coloured boxes that sit in them.
I can't find them anymore and I can't find anyone who is selling non-festool branded Systainers in Aus, anyone know any different?
Another related question, do the drawers of the Sortainer slide all the way out easily so you can take them to where you are working or are they designed to stay in the Sortainer? I prefer to just grab a container of screwsor whatever and take them to the work to keep things tidy.

Yep the drawers come out rather easily. I got the 6 drawer snd 3 drawer and I have had no problems with them coming out.
The only issue is if you overload them with screws it can be difficult to open the drawer. It just takes one screw to stick up. I thought I’d have a use for it but it’s empty at the moment and will probably sell it.

It depends on the type of work you do. Sortainers would be a good option if you work on site and need to carry an assortment of different types of screws etc. You can join them with other systainers and it would be quite useful. In saying that they would work fine in a workshop setting, just don’t overload the drawers and you’ll be fine. Stick a label on the front and away you go.
I reckon there are better options out there. I got a few of these systainers to hold my screws. This is not mine but it gives you an idea. I couldn’t justify the full price so I got them either during a promotion or second hand and they work great. You can lift out the individual containers and take it to your bench.

Thanks, those are the ones I was really interested in, I remember a supplier that would sell the Tanos Sys-1 with a whole range of layouts of those coloured individual containers. I just added the question about the sortainer because I see them for sale on gumtree.
Glad to know you like them.
