Following advice from Lignum - "you need one" - i have already got it in "MY EBAY"
Not selfish but wasnt going to tell everyone until it was mine
BTW will sell now for $1600 - how much is the warranty worth??
Cheersregards

Remember it is a pickup only, so you will need someone local unless you are going to drive up to collect!

What about a courier pick-up?
Discuss this with the seller before purchase/bidding.

Brice thanks for your thoughts.
It is in "my ebay" and i will bid in the last 30 secs and only to MY price. (thats not $1600 or it would not still be on EBay) Any bids between now and then only push the price up so i can wait.
If i miss this one another will come up - remember they haven't been around that long really.
If i was the seller i would be wanting everyone to know about it and bid now so good luck to the seller and hope they get a good return on their investment.
i am a bit wary of the "never used" label attached to things - sometimes hard times mean selling "excess" to raise funds - if that is the case then maybe i can get a bargain if not doesnt matter.
Cheersregards

Hi Calm,
You might want to ask the seller about the description of the package. I think they have lifted the COMPLETE KIT description off our website which does not necessarily match what they are offering. The DOMINO Assortment Systainer they have there is not the newest one (obviously as they say it is a year old) so does not seem to include the 4mm cutter or 4mm dominos. Unless they have brought just recently and added them to the package.
Also note that it is a PIN fence, not a TAB fence. So depending on your preference (see other threads to read all about the differences) this could be positive or negative.
Good luck with the auction.

Anyone who wins it and it turns out it has the Pin fence and would prefer the Tab fence - let me know and we can talk about an exchange (I have the newer Tab fence obviously).

The price is more than what most Festool dealers would charge for a secondhand unit. My complete new system with 2 systainers , dominoes, cutters, stops etc etc ( with tabs not pins) was $1500 on special through Beyond Tools in Perth.
Ebay is designed to push prices up while giving the illusion of a bargain. My recommendation is to keep twisting your friendly Festool dealer's arm for a better price - remember if you don't ask you don't get.
