    Default Festool and Carbatec.

    Hi all,

Carbatec are no longer agents for Festool/Protool. This means that there may be some potential bargains for those wishing to add some accessories to their kit. In Melbourne at least, I know they were using the Dovetail joining system for demos along with an OF1400. Carbatec are not long on giving discounts, but if you're a regular customer and know someone well, who knows. Best of luck.

    Default Festool & Carbatec

    Hi all,
It looks like Carba-Tec Bris & Melb discontinued selling Festool. Carba-Tec Sydney still do & have a great test centre set up to do demo's. The staff have good knowledge on the tools as well.

Thommo you are correct, Festool is no longer listed in the current catalogue (2007). However Perth and Sydney stores will continue to carry the Festool range of power tools. Both stores have the Festool test center so call in for a try out of quality power tools.

Picked up my copy today - funny (strange) about Festool, seeing as there is one on the cover of the cattledog (sitting on top of a Leigh mortice jig)
