I am constantly amazed at how long the Festo discs wear. They are absolutely brilliant (no pun intended).
Cheers,
Bob

You might be able to help with other grits for me?
Gosh...thats fantastic...please post message next time your ordering again....only because I still have approximately half a box of all but didn't actually purchase any 400's.... my late husband & I purchased 4 different boxs of them from the last woodshow here in Perth that we attended (2005).... lost him to cancer...and now just getting back into the shed after 16 months not being able to see for tears...still gets hard to find that motivation...but the woodwork is calling me back...think Ed's spirit is pushing me back slowly & gently...
Main reason for contacting you is the difficulty in getting the 1200 grit... & 800 grit... I have only one ...that has just about been used beyond all reasonable expectations....
Please let me know how or where to get them...if you cant get them in Perth....where can I order them from....thanks
Kerry

Hi Kerry,
what your after is "Champagne". It comes in grits from 600 up to 1500. Any of the papers you need can be ordered from many of the manufacturers who have it on rolls & punch it out or keep a bulk supply. When you call to place an order just ask for 150mm diameter & specify whether you want them punched with the 9 hole pattern (suits festool rotex) or not (in the case of Champagne if using it for hard burnishing you won't need it punched). These places have minimum order quantities but its much cheaper & is a one off expense that'll see you set up with the correct papers for a good while. I can't remember which one of these two have the champagne, but its one of them.
